Xoliswa Khumalo


Xoliswa Khumalo is an intern-researcher in the Synergy Johannesburg office. Her role includes tasks such as assisting in primary and secondary research, providing report writing and data analysis support to the team; as well as project administration.

Xoliswa has a master’s degree in Sociology from the University of Johannesburg – her minor thesis explored the influence of economic issues on gender roles within cohabiting unions. Xoliswa is an avid reader in her spare time which has borrowed to her extensive experience and skills in both quantitative and qualitative research methods; with areas of interest including community development and economic upliftment.
