Learning Outcome: 

The student has met the requirements to: 

  • Demonstrate an understanding of the complexity of business processes operating in complex environments, and its bearing on social and economic impacts, and associated business risks. 
  • Identify and assess local community-level business impacts and risks. 
  • Implement approaches to analysing and developing the social performance and engagement capacity of relevant institutional functions and key stakeholders associated with operational activities. 
  • Implement and employ social performance international standards, frameworks and tools. 
  • Identify and develop critical social performance and community relations competencies and skills. 
  • Demonstrate an understanding of human rights issues and responses in the context of business operations in complex contexts.
