Laura contributes to the assessment, management and monitoring of social impacts for several of Synergy’s large-scale projects in fragile and vulnerable contexts. This includes projects that induce community resettlement in Western Africa.

With experience in socio-economic analyses, academic research, environmental and social impact assessment and due diligence, compliance reviews, resettlement, project management and understanding of the implications of social performance in the extractive and infrastructure sectors, allow her to support companies, governments, donors and civil society to enhance the social impacts of development projects.

She is particularly interested in exploring ways to design and implement strategies to drive responsible change in the extractive, energy and infrastructure sectors and to achieve sustainable shared growth.
