Laura is a consultant who plays a key role in assessing, managing, and monitoring social impacts for Synergy’s large-scale projects, especially in fragile and vulnerable contexts, including community resettlement projects in Western Africa. With expertise in socio-economic analyses, academic research, environmental and social impact assessment, due diligence, compliance reviews, resettlement, and project management, Laura supports companies, governments, donors, and civil society in enhancing the social impacts of development projects. She is particularly interested in finding ways to design and implement strategies that drive responsible change in the extractive, energy, and infrastructure sectors, aiming for sustainable shared growth.
