Benjamin has over fifteen years’ experience advising on environmental and social performance, human rights due diligence, and responsible mineral supply chains. He specialises in supporting companies to identify, manage, and mitigate social and human rights risks across complex projects and supply chains, including in high-risk and conflict-affected contexts, and is particularly recognised for his work on responsible mineral supply chains and ASM-related risks.

He combines technical expertise with strategic advisory, supporting clients on the design and implementation of management systems aligned with international standards. His work spans land access and resettlement, community relations, artisanal and small-scale mining, and supply chain risk management.

As Head of Synergy’s French office and co-CEO of Synergy Global, Benjamin both leads the Paris team and oversees francophone delivery across a wide portfolio of projects, with a focus on quality, consistency, and practical implementation.
Benjamin has worked extensively across Africa, including in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Uganda, Madagascar, Mauritania, Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, South Africa, Namibia and Cameroon, as well as in Europe and Latin America. He brings strong cross-cultural experience and operates fluently in French, English, and Spanish.

He holds degrees in Political Science and International Risk Management, including a Master of Arts in International Affairs and a master’s in development studies from Sciences Po Bordeaux.
