Robin is a human rights lawyer with over ten years’ experience supporting companies and rightsholders to manage social and human rights risks in complex operating environments. She combines a strong legal foundation with practical advisory experience, helping organisations navigate sensitive, high-stakes issues involving communities, supply chains, and institutional actors.

Her work spans human rights due diligence, social performance, and stakeholder engagement. She supports clients to analyse value chain risks, conduct due diligence, and integrate human rights into governance, procurement, and operational decision-making, working across corporate, regional, and site levels.

She also brings deep experience in grievance mechanisms and access to remedy, including design, implementation, and monitoring aligned with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, with a focus on strengthening accountability and responding to complex complaints.

Robin is a skilled facilitator and trainer, designing and delivering practical capacity-building programmes that support teams to apply frameworks and standards in real-world contexts.

Robin holds a bachelor’s degree with honours from Yale University and an LLB from the University of Cape Town, and is admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa. As a Principal Consultant and UK Country Lead at Synergy Global Consulting, she is responsible for project delivery in the UK and supports clients to align corporate commitments with practical delivery across projects and organisations.
