Hilton is a social impact specialist and leads Synergy’s Global Training Practice with over twenty years of international experience across the development, renewable energy, and extractives sectors. He is recognised for helping organisations understand and manage complex social change processes, and for designing practical approaches that strengthen delivery on the ground.

His skills include socio-economic impact analysis—particularly related to community resettlement, livelihoods and enterprise development—stakeholder and community engagement, multi-sector partnership design, and monitoring and evaluation. He brings strong expertise in human rights and international standards, business process design and change management, and strengthening community relations functions and practice within companies and projects.

Hilton leads Synergy’s global training practice, with a focus on developing and delivering capacity-building programmes that professionalise social performance and community relations. He is experienced in client training needs assessment, facilitation, trainer training and content design, and brings a strong adult learning approach to building lasting organisational capability.
