Pauline, a Junior Consultant, has an extensive background on governance structures, especially around natural resources and food resilience and security. Prior to joining Synergy, Pauline gained valuable international experience at the Food and Agriculture Organization (UN) focusing on farmers’ rights concerning plants and genetic resources for food and agriculture. Her thesis explored the role of mining industries in the multi-stakeholder processes of mine closure. At Synergy, Pauline actively contributes to the development of social and environmental impact assessments, analyses, investigations, audits, and data collection for projects in complex contexts involving diverse stakeholders. Her proficiency in stakeholder engagement, environmental and social impact assessment, and project management enables her to support social performance efforts with international actors effectively. Pauline has honed her skills in both quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis. She is also adept at using QGIS and managing fieldwork for our partners. Pauline holds an engineering degree in Political Sciences, Ecology, and Strategy from Bordeaux Science Agro and AgroParisTech. She is fluent in French, English, and Spanish.
