Pearl Mabaso is a Junior Consultant with experience supporting social performance, stakeholder engagement, and livelihood restoration projects in mining-affected communities across Southern Africa. She contributes to stakeholder mapping, baseline data collection, monitoring and evaluation, data quality assurance, reporting, and community engagement activities, while also coordinating field logistics and supporting the implementation of livelihood restoration programmes. Her experience includes work on projects for Ivanplats and Valterra Platinum, as well as broader community development and social facilitation initiatives.

Prior to joining Synergy, Pearl held project management and social facilitation roles in the development sector, managing donor-funded programmes and community infrastructure projects. She holds a National Diploma in Environmental Health and has completed additional training in Social Performance, Stakeholder Management, Human Rights Due Diligence, and Resettlement and Livelihood Restoration. Pearl is fluent in English, Sepedi, and Setswana, with working knowledge of isiZulu.
