With a deep understanding of working with mining companies, governments, and communities, his skills cover various aspects, including resettlement management, livelihood restoration, compensation negotiations, community development planning, local economic development, integrated planning, and stakeholder management. Dedicated to helping companies achieve shared value with communities, Sam emphasises the importance of private sector investments in transforming previously disadvantaged areas. He believes these investments, alongside public sector efforts in infrastructure and social services, can turn these communities into productive spaces, promoting their inclusion in the mainstream economy.
